The Cumulus Tee is a light and airy t-shirt featuring a deep, rounded V-neckline and elegant elbow-length sleeves. With its clean and simple design, it’s the perfect staple for warm-weather outfits—easy to pair with skirts, trousers, or shorts.

The tee is worked seamlessly from the top down using a delicate 100% silk yarn (Knitting for Olive Pure Silk). The yarn has a beautiful matte finish, and the natural coolness of silk makes this top especially comfortable even on the hottest days—it feels soft and luxurious against the skin.

If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, you can also knit the tee using Sandnes Garn Tynn Line, a cotton-linen-viscose blend that drapes beautifully and offers a breezy summer feel.

The pattern also comes with an option for a rounded neckline—choose your favorite style and cast on your go-to top for the sunny season!

The Cumulus Tee is designed to have approx. 4 cm [1½ inches] of positive ease. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches]. The measurements for the finished tee can be found on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S tee has a bust circumference of 94 cm [37 inches] which in the given example would give you 4 cm [1½ inches] of positive ease. Schematics can be found here.

The Cumulus Tee is in progress; the yarn feels nice, but you have to be careful not to split the stitches while knitting—a lovely summer sweater! ☀️
