Sandnes Garn Sunday is a thin merino wool yarn that has not been superwash treated and thus retains all the best properties of wool. It repels dirt and insulates heat better than treated yarn, and it is also less slippery, making it very pleasant to knit.

Sunday is very soft and is a good choice for baby knitwear, for example. The yarn is also a wonderful pair for silk-mohair yarn, for example, and it is often knitted double.

The yarn is made in Norway from mulesing-free merino wool and consists of four strands that are twisted reasonably tightly around each other. The country of origin of merino wool is Uruguay.
