Description
The Celeste Sweater is a popular pattern because:
- This sweater has a truly captivating cable pattern that is easy to remember. Watching the final result take shape layer by layer is almost like reading a thriller.
- No long yarn overs.
- The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down, which makes it easy to adjust the fit while you are still working on it.
- The Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt yarn included in the kit is a DK-weight 100% Norwegian wool yarn that hardly pills and only softens with use.
- The sweater is shaped with shortened rows, which gives it a good fit.

The product (pattern) arrived quickly.
The Celeste Sweater turned out perfectly, and Nordic Knitting Shop’s delivery and ordering process was smooth from start to finish. I have become a permanent customer.
Clearly written instructions; the sweater itself is still waiting to be knitted.
The pattern was nice for someone who doesn’t knit much. I noticed a small mistake, but it’s not visible and didn’t require ripping back.
Celeste Sweater, a beautiful design. Based on the chest circumference, I chose size M for a slender young man. After the yoke, I continued the body for a while until I realized the armholes were unusually small (following the pattern). I then knitted a bit of a sleeve and confirmed that the underarm area is indeed very tight. This might suit a feminine body, but not a man—even a slender one—whose shoulders are shaped differently than a woman’s. The project remains unfinished. I lost my motivation.
