Helmi Sweater is a wonderfully soft and fluffy yoke sweater featuring delicate, pearl-like bobbles around the yoke. Despite their intricate appearance, the bobbles are surprisingly easy to make and add a beautiful textured detail to the design.

The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, holding merino wool and mohair together for a warm, lightweight, and irresistibly soft fabric. Short rows are used to shape the yoke, creating a comfortable and flattering fit that sits beautifully on the shoulders.

It is always best to choose a size based on your bust measurement. This sweater is designed to have approximately 10cm 2 inches positive ease meaning that the circumference of the sweater should be 10cm larger than your bust circumference.

This sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is decorated with bead-like bobbles. Short rows are used to shape the sweater for a better fit. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and finished with an i-cord.

GAUGE

20 sts and 30 rows per 10cm (4′′) in stockinette stitch

NEEDLES

3.5mm 80cm (US4 32′′) and 4mm 80cm (US6 32′′) or longer circular needles. Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
