How many balls of yarn do I need?

The Acorn Sweater is knitted from the bottom up, with either an A-line or straight hem. The sleeves are knitted in the round using double-pointed needles or the magic loop technique. The sweater features a rounded neckline with a simple pattern. You can choose between an i-cord or a double neckband.

The measurements in this pattern is only correct if the given gauge is achieved. The sweater should have a positive ease from 5 to 10 cm. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are intended to fit a bust measurement of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Measure yourself or the one your knitting for, to find the perfect size. If you’re 85 cm around your bust, you should knit a size S that measures 89 cm.
