The Mia knitted top is a fitted ribbed top with a v-neckline. The top is worked in the round from bottom up all the way to the armholes. The piece is then divided into four sections and the shoulder straps are done separately while shaping the v-neckline. Finally, the shoulder straps are grafted together.

The Mia knitted top is designed for everyday use. The elastic, basic knitted top works with all styles and situations. The top can be paired with shorts, skirts or trousers.

Measure your chest circumference and compare your measurement to that of the finished top shown in the above table. If you want a close-fitting top, choose a size 0–6 cm smaller than your chest circumference. The model in the picture is wearing a size S with a 90 cm chest circumference. There is 6 cm of negative ease.

Be sure to make a test swatch first to make sure you meet the gauge. If the gauge doesn’t match the pattern, change the needle size accordingly. Remember that gauge is always measured after the test swatch is washed. The knitted piece will change size as it gets wet.
